The inspiration behind this blog is Dr. Amos Yong, and his influence upon me during my five years of working with him at Regent University, in Virginia Beach, VA (from June, 2006 through the fall of 2011). It was he who suggested to me that I retrieve my biological training in undergraduate education and put it to use in my PhD studies in Systematic Theology at Regent. I was a little hesitant at first, for I was looking to delve deeper into a strictly theological study. However, with his gentle suggestions and his initial leading of me to write several papers for him on science-theology related issues, I began to see the wisdom in his suggestions: I could redeem my biological past and put it to good use. The last nine years have been a joy, overall, and I have had many peer-reviewed papers and bountiful amounts of reviews published, some of which I will post on this site. Thanks Dr. Yong!
